9th Annual 12 Days Project - Nov. 10th-22nd
November 6th, 2008 - From November 10th through November 22nd, Theta Chi Fraternity will be sponsoring their 9th Annual Twelve Days Project. In order to fulfill their motto of 'The Helping Hand', the Brothers of Theta Chi will be spending 12 consecutive days and nights on the University Commons, on the campus of James Madison University. The purpose of this philanthropic event is to collect toys, clothing, and monetary donations to support the underpriviledged youth of the greater Rockingham County during the Holiday Season. During the cold winter months, help warm the heart of a child by making a contribution.
Through the generosity of the Harrisonburg community over the past 8 years, Theta Chi has been able to raise over $30,000 in donations. This year, our goal is $10,000. The organizations that will be receiving funds this year are Habitat for Humanity and the Mercy House of Harrisonburg.
Donations will be accepted on the University Commons on the JMU campus from November 10th-22nd, 2008. If you would like to make a donation by mail, please use the address below. For more information please contact 12 Days Chairmen, Fred Rose (rosefw@jmu.edu) or Matt Portner (portneml@jmu.edu). Every donation matters, so make yours today!
